I have been working with Nozomi for the in vivo Cardiac Imaging project. The goal of the project is to induce an infarction in a mouse’s cardiac system and then image blood vessels in the heart using a 2-photon microscope. I have also been researching and developing methods to pace the heart by using a bipolar electrode, which is placed on the epicardium layer of the heart. We hope to successfully image the cardiacovasculature system and then use Matlab to analyze the data. I am currently pursuing the Master’s Degree in biomedical engineering at Cornell University and expecting to receive the degree in May 2011. I did my undergraduate at Cornell, majoring in Biological Engineering.
