Da is originally from Inner Mongolia. He had his undergraduate study at UC Irvine majored in Biological Science and Economics. In 2015 he joined Olivier Civelli Lab doing research in neuromodulation and cognitive disorders. His research focused on maternal behavior’s effects on methionine induced schizophrenia on transgenic mice model. Da is currently doing his MEng study in Biomedical Engineering. In our lab, he is interested in muscle machine interface to develop the noninvasive bioluminescence recordings of hindlimb neural signals.
