James developed software to trace arterial networks in a rodent brain. Using two dimensional images taken at different depths of brain tissue, it is possible to map the vasculature structure in three dimensions. This helps in analyzing the effects of blood vessel disruption throughout the network. James completing a Masters of Engineering degree in Applied Operations Research. He began a job in IBM’s research division after leaving Cornell.
