I’m currently working on mapping out the spinal cord vasculature both in a pre-injury and post-injury mouse models using a 3D tracing program. Hopefully, this will reveal specific revascularization patterns that will then be used to design treatments to make newly formed vessels functional. The spinal cord injuries are induced using specific surgical techniques that are then imaged after completing a white matter clearing protocol I’m developing.
