I am currently working toward a Master of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering. I am researching the effect of femtosecond laser ablation on the propagation of epileptic seizures in cortical tissue. The aim of the project is to stop the propagation of focal seizures while minimizing damage by making vertical ablations in the cortex. We are collaborating with Dr. Ted Schwartz at Weill Cornell Medical College on this project.
